Facial Fillers Treatments
No line or wrinkle is created equal, sometimes Botox alone cannot correct all lines and wrinkles. If the problem is volume loss from the face, a natural process of aging, facial fillers on North Shore MA are a great remedy. Also called injectable wrinkle fillers, facial fillers create a youthful look at a fraction of the cost of a traditional facelift.

How to Prepare for a facial filler Injection?
To prepare for your filler treatment, you need to have a consultation with Dr. Hadaegh. During your consultation, he will ask you about your medical history and any other surgeries or procedures you may have had.
The Procedure
Fillers are substances that can be used to fill creases, lines, and depressed regions, restoring volume to smooth out the area. Sometimes fillers are used to add volume to hollow parts of the chin, cheeks, temples, the backs of the hands, or the jawline.
In other cases, fillers can be used to smooth away moderate to deep wrinkles like the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, parentheses lines, and perioral lip lines (also called smoker’s lines or lipstick lines). Fillers can also augment thinning lips.
For fine wrinkles like crow’s feet, glabellar lines, horizontal forehead wrinkles, and chin wrinkles, Botox is typically the more ideal option.
Our Filler Options
There are many different types of facial fillers. Fillers can consist of your own fat or products like Juvederm and Voluma. The type of filler that is right for you will be decided during your consultation.
Juvederm is an FDA approved synthetic form of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in our body. It is used to fill the facial lines around the lip, cheek, chin, and deep forehead lines. It is also used to rejuvenate the lips. Juvederm last from 9-18 months, depending on the site of injection.
We also offer a new product called Voluma. Voluma is a brand new FDA approved filler that is used to instantly restore or increase volume to your cheeks. This product can last 18 months to 2 years.
We can use a patient’s own fat as an autologous filler to provide long-lasting rejuvenation. Because it comes from the patient’s own body, the chance of rejection or allergic reaction is extremely low. The patient’s fat is harvested from areas where there is excess fat, typically regions like the stomach, buttocks, and thighs. It is purified and then carefully injected into wrinkles and hollow areas. Results look and feel very natural.
