I had a “mommy makeover” after having gastric sleeve surgery in 2017. Dr. Hadaegh did a fantastic job in removing a lot of excess skin from my stomach area and my breast look and feel natural. He is a true artist at his craft! I had no complications and minimal time down before returning to work (2 weeks). My scars are minimal at just two month. Yes. Dr. Hadaegh is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Where will my surgery take place?
Mommy Makeover surgery is performed at either Beverly Hospital or North Shore Medical Center, Salem, under general anesthesia. The operation itself takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on your specific treatment plan.
What is recovery like after Mommy Makeover surgery?
You could be sore with some swelling after surgery. You will begin walking immediately but will need to walk slightly bent over for 10 days to two weeks. Most patients return to work (depending on job duties), driving, and normal basic daily activities within 2 weeks after surgery. Exercise and heavy lifting are restricted for 6 weeks after your Mommy Makeover.
Will my consultation be with the surgeon?

Yes. There is a $150 consultation fee that is charged to you at the time you book your appointment. You will have a full hour with Dr. Hadaegh to discuss everything related to your procedure. Should you decide to move forward with your mommy makeover, the consultation fee will be applied as a credit to your total procedure price.
Will insurance cover my mommy makeover?
Typically, no. Mommy makeover surgery is generally considered a cosmetic procedure and therefore not medically necessary. It’s best to check with your specific insurance company if you have additional questions about your coverage.
