Does sleeping with makeup on really matter?

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician

beautysleepWe’ve all heard it before……you shouldn’t sleep with your makeup on.  But does it really matter?

Look, I know you’re tired.  To be totally honest, I’m tired too.  Sometimes SOOOOO tired.  We work hard and we all have busy lives.  Jobs, spouses, volunteer commitments, kids, pets, working out, we’re constantly on the go.  It makes sense, then, that we’re tired.  By the time the day is over, the kitchen is cleaned up, the laundry is folded, and everything else on the list is done, it seems like such an effort to start dealing with your skin, right?  I get it.  I swear I do.  We all feel like that sometimes.  You don’t need to feel bad or beat yourself up about a lack of nighttime face washing.  For starters, you don’t even think it matters, right?  Well my friend, it does.

Here’s the thing, while we sleep our skin is regenerating.  Skin actually performs its most impressive renewal during deep REM sleep.  When we sleep, stress hormones decrease and cell renewal and the fight against free radical damage increases.  Sleep actually increases the efficiency of naturally produced growth hormones that help regenerate collagen producing cells. Remember collagen?  It helps keep your skin plump and youthful looking.  Collagen is your friend.  Sleep also increases melatonin levels in the body and melatonin acts like an antioxidant for skin, fighting fine lines and age spots.

So where does our makeup come into all of this?  When you sleep with makeup on, all of the amazing processes that our skin performs are slightly suffocated.  Sleeping in makeup reduces moisture levels in your skin, increasing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  We don’t want that!  Not washing off your makeup before bed inhibits the natural cell renewal process, and that process helps keep your skin looking bright and fresh.  Sleeping in makeup also means that all of the beneficial ingredients in your skincare aren’t on your skin during the time they could do their best work.  If you’re sleeping in makeup, you’re helping the aging process along.  Not the goal, right?

So what’s the bottom line?  Beauty sleep is real.  Sleep is like a magic antiaging potion, so let it work for you!  I know, I know, you’re TIRED.  So here’s my genius suggestion.  Don’t wait until bedtime to wash off that makeup!  Finished with dinner and in for the night?  Time to whip out your facewash!  What rulebook says we have to “get ready for bed” when we’re going to bed?  I say, as soon as you know you’re in for the night, off comes the makeup.  All of it.  And you want to know something?  It’s kind of liberating.  There’s a beautifully relaxed feeling when you’re in your comfies with a fresh clean face.  Try it.  Your face will thank you.

Summer Essentials

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician

Summer Essentials It’s almost here……summer. I love summer. In New England it’s all too short a season, but I treasure every last moment. Food fresh off the grill, late sunsets, flowers in bloom, that smoky smell in my hair after sitting around our fire pit in the evening, and so much more. I love it all.

With summer, however, comes heat and stronger sun. While I adore the feeling of the warm sunshine, and I would gladly take a 100 degree day over one that’s 15 degrees, summer does require a level of preparedness if you want to protect that beautiful skin you’re working to maintain. Now it doesn’t have to be all-consuming, and you absolutely can enjoy every minute of the season. Being prepared is the magic key. Do you spend a lot of time in your car, or always have a certain bag with you? Pick a place to keep your “Sun Fun Essentials” that is readily accessible. You don’t want to be caught unprepared when your friend asks you to go for an impromptu paddle board or long leisurely walk one afternoon!

So what do you need? Here are the must haves: A hat, preferably with a wider brim than a baseball hat. Sunglasses. They don’t have to be your regular daily pair, and they don’t have to be designer. These are your “in a pinch” sunglasses. Sunscreen. This should NOT be a spray, but a good old-fashioned lotion. SPF 50 is preferable and I beg you not to go below SPF 30. A lip product with SPF. A light weight cotton shirt. A towel.

Now do you want to know why you need all of these things at the ready? Because we don’t always know what life has in store for us, we want the ability to protect our skin from sun damage, but we also want to live our lives and not think so much. Who wants their skin to look older than it is? Not me! And remember, even though we may be impeccably prepared for summer sun exposure, our scattered best friend isn’t, and we care about her skin too….I’m a good friend, aren’t you? We have our “Sun Fun Essentials” at hand because you just never know, and when you take care of your skin and want it to look its best, you need to protect your investment.

So what purpose does each of these items serve? Let’s lay it all out! A hat. Ok, this is shielding our face from the sun. While baseball hats will suffice now and then, a hat used for true sun protection needs a brim wide enough to shield the entire face. Baseball hats, while adorable, ignore the sides of the face. It is, however, possible to look totally cute AND protect your whole face. Bucket hats……super cute! Over sized, wide brim, tightly woven floppy hats…..so L.A.! I have faith in you….I know that you’ll find the perfect hat that also meets your fashion requirements. Next up are the sunglasses. I’ll be honest, I am not a lover of sunglasses. I really just don’t like how they feel on my face. I will, however, put them on for the sake of my vision and my crow’s feet! Prolonged, repeated exposure to strong sun can impact your sight over time and also significantly contributes to those pesky lines around our eyes. Simply putting the sunglasses on will check off this category of protection for you, and the glasses will look fab with your amazing new hat! Moving right along to sunscreen. Naturally you know that you need to wear sunscreen. Gone are the days of baby oil and reflectors…now we’re trying to fix some of that damage and prevent more! As far as sunscreen is concerned, you need at least an SPF 30. That’s right, not an SPF 15, but an SPF 30. Ideally you’ll wear an SPF 50, but at a minimum we’re looking for SPF 30. Note that applying once before you go to a cookout and not again all day is not sufficient. Sunscreen is meant to be applied about every 2 hours. You may have noticed, in years past, that your sunscreen seemed to work great at the beach in the morning, but you burned in the afternoon? That’s because it wasn’t really doing anything for you by the afternoon! Don’t forget the SPF for your lips too. We need to keep that pucker looking good! The last two items are a light weight cotton shirt and a towel. Why do you need these? Cover up, wipe down, you just never know! My experience has shown me that you need them, so just put them in the bag and thank me later. 😉

Alright, you’ve got it all in your bag! Now what? Have fun! Relax and enjoy the beautiful weather, toes in the sand, time spent making memories with people you love, and your beautiful skin!

Spring has sprung!

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
Happy SpringAhhh, the sun is shining and the air is FINALLY warm and dry (at least for the moment). Days like this make me feel energized. I want to get outside for a walk, eat a crisp salad, and take good care of myself. Over the course of the winter, and New England’s poor excuse for spring, I find I start to feel tired. Shorter days and less time spent enjoying the outdoors puts me in a bit of a rut. But I can feel a change in the air. The days are getting longer, my dog is getting walked more often, and I’m ready to bust out and plant a mountain of flowers in my yard.

For most of us, our skin also feels a little tired by the real end of winter. The snow only gave way to rainy raw days and our skin could use a little TLC……a rebirth much like spring. I know that many of you have treatment plans in place to address your skincare goals, but what about everyone else? What about my friends that aren’t so much about grand gestures when it comes to skin treatments…..or forget about grand gestures…..what about you hesitant guys and gals that don’t do any? I have a solution for you! Get a facial!

I know what a lot of you are thinking…..facials don’t do anything. Wrong amigos! Here’s the thing, facials sometimes get a bad rap. Sure, you can go for a facial that ends up as what I call a “fluff and buff”. By that I mean that the massage felt great but nothing really “happened”. That type of facial, while relaxing, isn’t necessarily getting real work done. What I’m suggesting is a custom facial. A facial that is designed, as your skin is being looked at, to address your skin’s specific needs on that day. A working facial. Need to brighten up? Feeling dry? Pores clogged? Oily? Something else? We can work on it! Will one facial fix every skin concern you may have? Sadly, no. It will however act as a jumpstart, a reawakening, just like spring. You will see a difference and feel a difference. Want more result? Let’s talk about it. Just want to feel like spring has sprung when you look in the mirror? Book your custom facial today!

Happy SPRING!

Have you gone too far?

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
BratzdollWhen it comes to makeup, skin care and skin treatments…… is it possible to do too much? To go too far? ABSOLUTELY! Friends, we need to have a chat. You know the saying, “sometimes less is more”? Well that applies to your face too. Allow me to explain.

Let’s start with makeup. I’m a fan. A huge fan. I think makeup is unique in that it allows us to enhance our natural beauty and flash a little self-expression at the same time. We all like a slightly different look when it comes to makeup, and that, to some degree, has to do with our unique anatomy. Large eyes, hooded eye lids, thin lips, full cheeks…….all of these factors and more impact what we want out of our makeup. The problem, as I see it, is when we think that going “all in” with makeup will make us look even better. Or when we assume that all looks are for all people at all times. I know, you want examples. Here ya go.

A smokey eye with a bright lip and shimmer every which way but loose……..no. It’s distracting and doesn’t make you look any younger, I promise. Want another example? Contouring and highlighting. We must address contouring and highlighting. We were not meant to look like chiseled plastic. Fact. We also really don’t look amazing when, in a picture, you can clearly see white patches and dark swatches on our face. I’ve seen it happen friends, it’s not good. Sure you can still employ contouring and highlighting techniques, but please, I’m begging, go easy. I swear it’s prettier in real life.

Speaking of real life, let’s talk about skin care treatments. I give them for a living so I obviously believe in what I do. That said, every once in a while we need a reality shot. Here it is. Your skin didn’t age overnight, right? Ok, so if it didn’t age overnight, why would it seem to make sense that if we do 4 different types of treatments in a week that you will look instantly ten years younger? Your skin is the largest organ of your body. It’s a living breathing thing. Being extra aggressive in an effort to speed up a result is generally not in the best interest of your skin’s long term health. I always want to get amazing results for my patients. That’s the goal…..beautiful, healthy, more youthful skin. Sacrificing the long term goal for the short term, however, is never the right road.

Anyone who knows me knows that I feel strongly that a great at home skin care routine is the cornerstone to amazing skin. Home care is what supports the results you get from treatments, and it’s what often readies your skin for treatments or helps it heal from them. So if using a scrub twice a week is good, isn’t daily better? If the recommended strength of a product is good…..isn’t double that better? No and no. Our skin doesn’t get happier when we overstimulate it. The opposite actually happens. And ingredient strength? Products and product strength are carefully suggested for you based on your skin’s needs. Your skin will stay in better balance and looking healthier when it gradually acclimates to new ingredients, and when strength of ingredients, when appropriate, climbs slowly.

Why am I telling you all of this? Because I see you trying. I see that you want great looking skin. I know that you are willing to stay committed to your skin and that you want to look your best. I’m with you on all of that. Sometimes, though, when we step back and get a little real, we can get a better result than we imagined possible. I want that for you.

What’s the deal with Microneedling?

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
It seems that suddenly everyone is buzzing about microneedling. Magazines are writing about it, E is reporting on it, and all of Hollywood seems to be doing it. So what the heck is it? Microneedling, which you may also hear called CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy), is a method of skin rejuvenation that triggers the skin to produce collagen and elastin. Collagen helps to smooth the skin and gives it strength. Elastin provides the ability for the skin to “snap back” and is essential, along with collagen, for youthful looking, well-toned skin. Microneedling is a chemical free treatment that is minimally invasive, involves little to no downtime, and gives really amazing results.

How does it work? A pen like device with a tip of tiny, incredibly fine needles, glides over the skin and gently punctures it creating minute micro channels. Each small puncture that is created is actually a controlled injury to the skin. The formation of each microchannel triggers the body to produce collagen and elastin to heal itself. I know, I know, you’re thinking…… that sounds painful! Great news, it isn’t. Before any microneedling treatment a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area. We want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible during your treatment.

And what about after your treatment? The full recovery period for most people is about three days*. During the recovery period you can expect some redness, mild swelling, and some mild flaking*. Most people are able to go right back to their lives after a microneedling treatment. At Aesthetic Plastic Surgery North Shore we actually go a step further and provide you with post procedure cover makeup and products to take home too! The last time I had a treatment I went straight from the chair to the field hockey field to watch my daughters!

The results of microneedling are what you’re really wondering about now, right? What is all of this going to do? Microneedling will help to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, break up surface pigmentation, and improve skin texture and firmness. In addition, microneedling can reduce the appearance of scars (including those from acne), stretch marks, and pores, and it provides an overall rejuvenated appearance to the skin. Sounds good, right? Well THAT’S why everyone is talking about it!

Have questions? Want to book your microneedling and start your journey to more beautiful skin? Call us at 978-927-1500 or email contactus@plasticsurgerynorth.com. We’re here to help!

Time for a little boost?

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
makeup When it comes to makeup most of us fall into the same habit…….we use the same colors over and over. I get it, I do it too sometimes. Routine isn’t necessarily a bad thing when it comes to makeup! Every once in a while, though, doesn’t it feel SO good to freshen things up? Especially during a New England winter with the short days and cold weather…… we need a boost!

I’m not gonna lie, I just LOVE productive and successful makeup shopping. And really, when I think about it, it’s not so much the actual shopping as it is the finding. It’s that feeling of looking good in something fresh, knowing that you have a new tool in your arsenal, the perfectly new and flawless packaging…..I adore it all.

I recently hit the store in search of a winter boost. I’ll confess that I own what some would consider an obscene amount of lipstick and lip gloss. Sometimes I like a light nude look, and sometimes I rock a bright bold lip. It depends on my mood really. The nude lip, though, is a staple. It’s also a look that so many women have trouble getting right. Too pink, too beige, too peach, too chalky……..the struggle is real my friends! We all miss the mark sometimes. When get it right though, it’s SO right. That feeling of, “Where has this color been all my life?!?” is what we’re all searching for. I was lucky enough to have that magical moment on my winter boost shopping trip.

There are countless brands to choose from and there’s no right or wrong, just personal preferences. I’ve heard lipstick and lip gloss commentary a million times….too creamy, too dry, too sticky, not tacky enough, not long lasting…… and on and on. I like color that lasts well and gives a hydrated feeling on my lips when I’m wearing it. One of my go to lip gloss brands is Buxom. The Buxom gloss is supposed to plump your lips up, and in reality, I don’t actually think it does. Not even a little. However, it does have a fresh tingling feeling; almost minty, and that’s a feeling I love. My number one Buxom color is White Russian. It’s a sheer pale pink with a touch of creaminess to the color…..like the milk in a White Russian! This color works over literally any lipstick!

So what’s my newest addition? The lip love that I found on my winter boost shopping trip? Bow and Arrow. What is it? It’s a Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Color. Kat Von D lip colors stay beautifully (they’re super pigmented and long wearing) and I LOVE the wand application. This formula dries to a matte finish so you can go matte or add a gloss on top. The range of colors is crazy. There are 43. They have everything from bright orange to beautiful soft shades, and everything in between. Backstage Bambi, a bright pink, has long been a fave of mine, and my newest love is Bow and Arrow. Bow and Arrow is a perfect beige nude, but not too beige, with just enough peach to balance the beige. With White Russian as a topper and it’s pure magic. Nude lip heaven. The perfect mid-winter boost! Mission accomplished!

Winter in New England is long (or at least it always feels that way!). Freshen up your look in the absolute easiest way possible…..a winter boost color change! Maybe for you it’s a new eyeshadow? Maybe a new lipstick? It makes no difference as long as it makes you happy. Be happy!

Unlocking the Makeup Mystery

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
I run into women day after day who tell me that they don’t wear any makeup. My question for them, which often is followed by a large moment of silence, is always, “Can I ask why you don’t wear any makeup?” Am I rude? Nosey? NO! I ask for a very specific reason. There’s no shame in wearing a little makeup and there’s no shame in acknowledging that you don’t actually know what the heck to do with it.

I have always loved makeup. I love everything about it; the packaging, the perfect way it looks right when you open it, the way it enhances the features of my face and conceals what I don’t want the world to see……… I love it all. I wear makeup every day, and some people assume that I spends endless amounts of time in the mirror every morning perfecting my look. Guess what…. I don’t. I love what makeup can do for me but I don’t like it to feel heavy, and I refuse to blot, touch up, or reapply my face throughout the day. I want to invest the smallest amount of time possible in the morning on my makeup because I, like you, have things to do and places to be. The great thing is that it’s possible to look great and have it be easy, I promise!

Too many women pass by mirrors throughout the day and think, “wow I look tired”, or “when did I get so old?” Ladies, it’s time to change all of that!  No matter how sensitive you think your skin is, or how natural you want to look, I assure you that with a little knowledge and a just a couple of minutes each day, you can pass a mirror and feel a whole lot better about the face looking back at you. Of course I realize that not everyone knows what to do with makeup or how to select the right products, and that’s where I come in!

The beautiful skin that we are working on with top notch skin care products and treatments, will look even better with a little help from makeup. Here’s a little fun fact for you: I don’t just know how to treat skin…….. I know how to “paint” it too! As a professional makeup artist with nearly 15 years of industry experience, I have worked for 2 major cosmetic lines and have helped countless brides, moms, sisters, daughters, and more to look their very best on a special day or any day! I am excited to now be able to unwrap the mystery of makeup for you right here at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of North Shore!

We always strive to provide you with the very best service and experience possible. We know you have makeup questions (you ask them all the time!). Now you can enjoy a private, one-on-one makeup lesson right in our office. We really do want to help you look and feel your best, and now is the perfect time to put your best face forward!

Skin Care Wardrobing

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
WardrobeEach time I have an initial meeting with someone, I ask certain questions. Among those questions are things like, “how many glasses of water do you drink each day?”, and “do you apply sunscreen daily?” It’s funny, because each time I rattle off my questions there is at LEAST one that makes the person sitting across from me pause. It’s as if each person has this moment when they think to themselves, “My answer is not the one she wants to hear”. And so, each time I am confronted with that same familiar pause, I say the same thing to fill the silence, “I’m not here to judge, I’m here to help”. Typically my comment is followed by a big sigh of relief, maybe even a chuckle, and then I’m told things like, “I only drink water if I’m taking medication”, or “I don’t like sunscreen because I like to get some color”. Holding true to my word, regardless of the answers I’m given to my list of questions, I don’t judge. I really do want to help, and the fact is, answers like this are more common than you could imagine. Nobody is perfect and we all need to start somewhere. We can’t fix something unless we know what we’re up against, right?!?

Ok, so I ask my questions and get the answers, but then what are you supposed to do? There are so many treatments available and countless topical products that can be used, so how do you figure it all out? YOU don’t have to. WE do. Together we talk about your skin; what you like about it and what you don’t. We figure out what your short term and long term goals are and we set a plan to get you there that works with your lifestyle and budget. The important thing to remember is that skin care (treatments and products) are not “one size fits all” like those big comfy pjs you love so much. Your skin’s needs change with age, the seasons, and your overall skin health.

Much like having a wardrobe of clothes to work from throughout the year, we can develop a wardrobe of skin care resources. These resources can be made up of both products and treatments and can be always evolving just as your skin is. I speak to people all the time who tell me they were using particular products that they liked but then the products stopped working. The truth is, your skin’s requirements likely changed. You can have your best skin; it IS possible. You won’t, however, get it by maintaining the status quo or by doing nothing but think about it. Achieving your best skin will take some action on your part. You don’t have to walk blindly into a skin care abyss though, I’m here to lead the way…..advising, listening, treating, (often having a few laughs with you), and above all else, never judging.

Want to talk about getting a skin care plan into motion? Just have questions? Call us at 978-927-1500. We’re here to help!

Routines, gadgets, gizmos, and treatments…….who really needs them anyway?

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
I hear over and over from people (especially women over 35) the same things. “I don’t have time to use a bunch of products”, or “nothing makes a difference with my skin”, or even better, “I just splash water at my face and it looks great!” So, we’re all friends here, right?!? Good! Any friend of mine knows that I tend to be direct. Why sugar coat it? So here’s the deal. You do have the time, it will make a difference, and just splashing water at your face is not exactly turning back the hands of time…..no offense. Healthy, properly functioning skin is not only important to our overall health, but let’s be honest, it makes us look better; healthier, younger, and more vibrant. I know there are plenty of people out there thinking that anyone seeking lotions, potions, and treatments from an Aesthetician is just vain and self-absorbed. To that I ask, what’s wrong with a healthy amount of vanity? When did vanity become the root of evil? Shouldn’t we take pride in our appearance? Shouldn’t we try to make corrections, when possible, where we unknowingly damaged ourselves in the past? Don’t we want healthy, properly functioning skin? Don’t we want to glow and feel good when we catch a glimpse of ourselves in a mirror? Doesn’t everyone, no matter their age, want to look even halfway decent in a selfie without a filter? I AM a little vain. I know that I am, but I think it’s healthy actually. You know why? Because I want to live MY fabulous over 40 life unfiltered.

Believe me when I tell you, I’m not seeking perfection in myself. Gone are my boot camp days, today I use my Pilates machine. I’m not looking to be G.I. Jane……just healthy and reasonably sane. Gone are the days of not even eating cake on my birthday, because frosting is seriously good. When it comes to my face, however, I just can’t find a good reason to look older than I need to. I realize that I’m not going to wake up one day with my 25 year old face, but why look older than I am? Someone recently told me that I have beautiful skin. You know what I responded? “It’s a labor of love”. I choose to take care of my skin because I choose to take care of myself. To make myself a priority. I am worth 5 extra minutes twice a day…..aren’t you? I’m worth regular maintenance and occasional treatments that help me to feel good and look good. Aren’t you?

Not every product is for everyone and not every treatment is for everyone. You are an individual. An individual who needs to take action to look and feel their best. Drink plenty of water, eat right (but don’t forget a little cake now and then!), exercise, and take care of your skin. It’s the only skin you’ve got.

Want tips, ideas, or direction? Message me with your questions!

No time? Make yourself a priority!

Liza Goldman, Licensed Aesthetician
MakeupOk friends, we need to talk. I’m concerned about you. Over and over I hear you say that you have no time for you. I also hear you saying that you feel and look tired and that your “age is catching up with you”. We need to stop the hamster wheel! The road to feeling and looking better is actually quite an easy one when you make yourself a priority. Now I get it, between kids, pets, work, and all of the other commitments we involve ourselves in, it seems easier said than done. I too have things to work on to be at my best (see, you’re not alone!). For me, sleep seems to elude me. I get wrapped up in accomplishing things and the next thing I know I’m folding laundry at 2am and setting my alarm for 6am. Not the best plan, I admit. I’m trying to get to bed earlier and to get more rest each night, and to continue to make time for myself each day. Now what about you? Maybe you should be getting to bed earlier, eating better, or staying more active. All of those things have a direct impact on how you feel and how you look, but there are other ways we can take time each day to feel and look better.

I know I’ve heard you say it a thousand times, “I’m not a makeup girl”. Well guess what…… you don’t have to be to wear a little. Now I realize this may sound harsh, but hear me out. Makeup is intended to do one simple thing; make you look better. If you’re not wearing even a little, you’re missing a golden opportunity to look and, as a result, feel better. Makeup done wrong can be a train wreck, but a little makeup, applied well, can be the difference between looking tired and aging vs vibrant and glowing. Nothing heavy, nothing “dark”, and if needed, nothing that takes more than about 5 minutes to apply. I know, you “have no time”, but can you honestly look your tired self in the mirror and say that you can’t carve out five minutes for you?

My sister-in-law absolutely likes to look good, but she’s not one to waste one second of her morning on a makeup routine. Many years ago when she first asked me for some color and product advice, she told me that anything I suggested needed to be able to be applied at the red lights on the way to work. Genius! Not the applying your makeup on the way to work part necessarily, but the idea that you could have a routine that made you look great and only took about 5 minutes. A streamlined and simplified game plan. Love it! Now, if you have more time and want more…. go for it! Just know that time should not be your obstacle.

So what’s the additional hold back for most people? If we eliminate the time issue I believe it boils down to one thing. You aren’t sure what to use or how to use it! If you have never been a makeup wearer why would you know? You wouldn’t! Please, please recognize that although the cosmetic industry has exploded, and products are easily accessible, I completely understand that walking into a Sephora could be a totally intimidating and overwhelming experience. Maybe you’re embarrassed to ask your questions, maybe you don’t even know what questions to ask! Deep breath time……. you can do this. You’re not alone, I promise. There are more of you out there than you think. Plus…. you have me! I actually offer private (that’s right, no onlookers) makeup instruction. Ask your questions, learn tips and techniques, and leave ready to face the world with a little color in your cheek, flawless looking skin, and eyes that pop! Already wear makeup but want to update your look or routine? We can do that too!

More sleep? Yes. Exercise? Yes. Healthy food? Yes. And the icing on the cake….. a little makeup……. yes.
